Cameron Fuller Café Rod Components

Fixings and rings for the Cameron Fuller 12mm café rod, sold separately because the rod itself is supplied pole only. Every part comes in the same eleven finishes as the rod, so a replacement matches what is already up.

Face fix brackets screw to the wall or the window frame and come in two projections: 20mm holds the rod close in, which is what most café curtains want, and 50mm stands it off far enough to clear a deeper frame, a window handle or a blind behind. Recess fitting fixes into the sides of a reveal instead of the face of the wall, the usual answer in a dormer or a window set back in its opening. A centre bracket supports a long run in the middle; it comes in the same two projections, so match it to the end brackets you have chosen.

Two brackets carry most café rods. Add a centre bracket on the 3.0m rod, or on any run where the rod is carrying more than a light voile; our bracket spacing guide covers when a centre support stops being optional.

Rings are sold in packs of 10. They are 25mm inside diameter with a 32mm drop from the rod to the bottom of the eye, so allow for that when you measure: the curtain hangs from the eye, not from the rod. Count one ring per 8 to 10cm of rod for an even gather, and round up rather than down, because a curtain hung on too few rings scallops badly between them.
