A draw rod is how a curtain should be opened. It hangs discreetly behind the leading edge, so the curtain is pulled from the heading rather than grabbed at hand height, and the fabric stays clean and unmarked for years longer.
Worth specifying on any pale or expensive fabric, and essential on interlined curtains heavy enough to be hauled rather than drawn. 1.0m, hand-finished in Devon.
Priced each. A pair of curtains takes two.
